The Game 12-10-18

First guest on the show is Jeff Hagan, Vice President of the new AAU Volleyball League in the area the Superior Storm Volleyball Club, who gives an update on the new program, fundraisers, and where the Club is headed this season and in the future.

Rob Gallinger, head coach of the LSSU Men's and Women's Track and Field program joins the show to talk about this weekend's results at Saginaw and looking ahead to the season.

Butch Davis, from Butch On Sports, joins the show next to look at the Metro Detroit sports scene, including the Detroit Lions win at Arizona, the recent Pistons struggles along with the Detroit Red Wings, Tigers and high school basketball.

Dave McCaig joins the crew in Hour 2 for the Round Table, where they talk about the NBA, NHL, NFL, MLB, WWE along with their Thumbs Up and Thumbs Down for the week.

Highlights of this edition include...The Army Black Knights survived Navy’s late bid to steal the game in the fourth quarter to win 17-7. Navy pulled within 10-7 halfway through the fourth quarter but a key defensive stand by Army and a fumble recovery on fourth down with three minutes left pretty much sealed the win...along with other sports topics from the Metro Detroit and sporting world.

Soo Eagles vs Soo Thunderbirds 12-7-18

Here is the Hockey TV audio of Friday's night's NOJHL Border Battle between the Soo Eagles and the Soo Thunderbirds.

The Eagles defeated the T-Birds for the first time this season, 3-2, in another spirited game at Pullar Stadium.

The Eagles will be back in action at Pullar Stadium on Friday, December 14th against Elliot Lake.

The Game 12-6-18

On this edition of The Game Sports Show, David McCaig is at Northern Superior Brewing Company in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, along with Justin Hykel and Dane Hanchrow as they open the show with a special guest, Mike Hall , the coach from the Sault College Cougars Hockey joins David, discussing the Cougars hockey team, this previous weekend vs Oakland and upcoming games. He also discusses the importance of school within playing the scholastic hockey system, and touches on his days coaching the always feared AAA Soo North Stars.

Justin, Dane and Dave discuss the NHL with Nylanders contract, the Leafs best start since the late 1930s, also get into Seattle joining the NHL. They jump into the Multiple Choice segment, where they discuss Seattle potential team names, Hart Trophy winners if the season ended today and if the NHL decides to relocate a team, who is it.

Dave also reminds listeners of the schedule upcoming for the Soo Greyhounds, Soo Thunderbirds and Soo Eagles. Craig Hartsburg joins David in his debut of his segment with The Game Sports Show after joining the panel discussing local hockey issues with minor hockey, discussing ways of improvement that need to occur and the issues being faced today in minor hockey. Craig concludes his segment with Dave stating his Top 5 NHL Power Rankings. Craig will be doing uploads for The Game Sports Show on a weekly-bi-weekly basis with joining Dave and The Game Sports Show on Thursdays from Northern Superior or Sundays from Ice Breakers Sports Bar and Grill!

On this week's edition of The Game Sports Show, Dave McCaig and Jamie Antonello are broadcasting from Sportscenter Bar & Grill, in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, named once again the Soo's best sports bar.

Head Coach Tom Annett of the Korah Colts Senior Football team stops in to talk the Korah Colts OFSAA win, the experience at OFSAA, player and staff shou touts for supporting the Korah Colts and even some discussion and teaser for next season.

Jamie and Dave continue the show with "In The Pocket" and discussion about Week 13 in the NFL, along with Week 14 preview and predictions. Dave and Jamie continue into Toronto Raptors update after the Raptors defeat the 76ers.

The Game 12-3-18

First guest on the show is LSSU's Senior Point Guard Tim Cairnduff, who talked about last weekend's GLIAC split on the road and looks ahead to the home opener along with his background and role on this year's squad.

Butch Davis, from Butch On Sports, joins the show next to look at the Metro Detroit sports scene, including another Lions loss at home, the Red Wings recent success and toughness, along with the Detroit Pistons win against the 2-time defending NBA Champs.

E.J. Russell joins the crew in Hour 2 for the Round Table, where they talk about the NFL and Kareem Hunt situation, the College Football Playoff and Bowl situation, the Green Bay Packers firing head coach Mike McCarthy, along with their Thumbs Up and Thumbs Down for the week.

Soo Thunderbirds Head Coach, John Parco, joins the show as he recaps the 3-0 weekend by the Birds, and team prep, going into this weekends 3 games in 3 nights.

Brad Coccimiglio from Soo Today.com joins Dave to talk about the Soo Greyhounds at home this week for three game along with the Soo Thunderbirds success.

Dave concludes the show talking about the Soo College Cougars and teases his thoughts in regards to the William Nylander contract.

Special guest on the show is Kaelan O' Flynn, Soo College Cougars Defencemen, discussing the ACHA D3 schedule home games for the college for the upcoming three weekends and also discusses updates on the season.

Topics on the round table include the NHL, with updates about the Toronto Maple Leafs regarding Nylander and Matthews dramatic return, along with the 3-on-3 and captains in the NHL. They also kick off the season opener of the famous Multiple Choice Segment, discussing various topics, along with some Blue Jays off season and Josh Donaldson signing with the Atlanta Braves.

Brimley at Cedarville 11-27-18

Here is the podcast of Tuesday's night's broadcast of Brimley Bays boys basketball on WUPN Eagle 95.1 with Scott Nason and Katie Wollan.

The Bays opened their 2018-19 with a dominating performance at Cedarville, as they topped the Trojans 71-49. Four Brimley players were in double figures with Hunter Lipponen scoring 16, Tristen Lyons 15, and Marcus Harris and Zach Gross adding 14.
