The Eagles will be back in action on Friday, January 4th, 2019 when they host the Blind River Beavers.

Marie, Ontario as host Dave McCaig and co-host Brad Coccimiglio from SooToday.com recap with the NOJHL, Soo Thunderbirds and Soo Eagles this past along weekend, along with Sault College, and discussion about the Minor Midget AAA Thunderbirds successful weekend that progresses into extended conversation locally about minor hockey development in Sault Ste. Marie.
Dave and Brad also recap the LSSU Lakers game vs the U-18 National Development USA team, along with update about the Soo Greyhounds this past weekend, and what to possibly expect for the rest of the season going forward.

Soo Eagles goaltender Joseph Benedetto turned aside all 29 shots he faced to record his second shutout of the season in a 2-0 triumph over the visiting French River Rapids in a Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League encounter Saturday at Pullar Stadium.
The Eagles will be back in action at the Pullar on Friday, December 21st against the Elliot Lake Wildcats.
