Highlights of today's show include...Christin Stewart drove in two runs and scored another as the streaking Detroit Tigers won their fifth straight by sweeping a three-game series from the visiting Kansas City Royals 3-1 on Sunday afternoon. Tyson Ross (1-1) recorded his first win with the Tigers, tossing seven strong innings. He allowed one run on five hits while walking one and striking out eight. Shane Greene struck out two in the ninth while recording his seventh save.

The Game 4-4-19

On this edition of The Game Sports Show, David McCaig is at Northern Superior Brewing Company in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, with Justin Hykel and Dane Hanchrow, as they discuss the Soo Thunderbirds and Soo Greyhounds Round 2 match-up coming up vs Saginaw.

Ryan Venderamin drops by, Captain of the National Champion Sault College Cougars and former OHL forward for the Sarnia Sting. Ryan talks about his stellar season and experiences in the National Championships and when he played in the OHL.

Commercial free, hour length Part 3 of the show, the boys work into unapproved overtime to discuss loads of Toronto Maple Leafs news with the D-core and the upcoming playoff series vs Boston. The boys continue with full NHL discussion with Dane leading the way with Edmonton Oilers yet non-playoff season rant. NHL conversation continues with more upcoming playoff chat, followed by a Multiple Choice segment. Dave concludes the show with his 3 up 3 down portion with MLB which gets into discussion about the Toronto Blue Jays and Kevin Pillar trade, along with Dave speaking out to the Blue Jay Fans out there.

The Game 4-3-19

On this week's edition of The Game Sports Show, Dave McCaig, Jamie Antonello and Justin Hykel are broadcasting from Sportscenter Bar & Grill, in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, named once again the Soo's best sports bar.

Dave opens the show at Sportscenter Bar and Grill passing the mic to co-host Jamie Antonello, to interview Soo Sabrecats players Joe Rosso and Ray Duplin. Jamie discusses the upcoming season, previous experiences for both Joe and Ray, along with Dave asking his "Secret Questions".

Dave and Jamie continue the show with "In The Pocket" discussing the NFL, along with Toronto Raptors talk, March Madness, and the social media chirping back and forth between Connor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Highlights of today's show include...Detroit Red Wings executive vice president and general manager Ken Holland today announced that Jeff Blashill has agreed to a two-year contract extension to remain head coach of the Red Wings. Legendary Atlanta Braves manager Bobby Cox was taken to the hospital Tuesday after suffering a possible stroke, Zach Klein of WSB in Atlanta reports.

The Game 4-2-19

The Game Sports Show has a brand new location, Icebreakers Sports Bar & Grill, powered by Northern Superior Brewery, inside the John Rhodes Community Centre in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario with host Dave McCaig, and Brad Coccimiglio from SooToday.com.

Dave and Brad open the show talking about the Soo Thunderbirds West Division Final against Rayside Balfour, as Game 3 goes back to Sudbury with series tied 1-1. They also discuss the big ACHA D3 National Championship Title win by the Sault College Cougars along with the Soo Greyhounds, as the second round nears vs the Saginaw Spirit, along with all around Major Junior chat.

The final part of the show is presented with a two person round table discussion about the Toronto Blue Jays multiple moves on Tuesday, including the trade of Kevin Pillar to the Giants, along with a discussion about the tight Wild Card seedings in particular in the Eastern Conference, all of which being teasers for the Thursday edition show.

Dave will be at Sportscenter on Wednesday, with Jamie and Justin at 9pm, don't hesitate to stop by and make sure you tune in!

Our regular contributor, Butch Davis from Butch On Sports joins the show next to discuss Detroit sports, including the Pistons, Wings and Tigers, along with Michigan State and March Madness, Wrestlemania and the Detroit Grand Prix.

The round table includes Butch, Dave, Scott and E.J. Russell on the hot seat, where they discuss more March Madness and the NCAA "One and Done" along with the upcoming NHL Playoffs and their Thumbs Up and Thumbs Down for the week.

Marie, Ontario, talking local hockey and the Soo Eagles season coming to an end, Soo Thunderbirds going onto the West Final and also the Sault College Cougars Mens Hockey team update in Texas at Nationals. Dave concludes the local round up with updates in regards to the Soo Greyhounds going into Game 5 vs the Owen Sound Attack in Round 1 of the OHL Playoffs.

Dave continues the show with getting into Professional Hockey, starting with the Toronto Maple Leafs and the recent struggles and some line combination shake up suggestions. Dave continues with more updates around the NHL in particular on the special tactic and patience it takes to build a proper hockey team. The show is concluded with MLB opening day round up with Dave diving into extra discussion about the Toronto Blue Jays.

The Game 3-27-19

On this week's edition of The Game Sports Show, Dave McCaig, Jamie Antonello and Justin Hykel are broadcasting from Sportscenter Bar & Grill, in Sault Ste. The show starts talking local football with the Soo Sabrecats with coach Antonello along with players Julian Gioia and Hunter Mousseau to discuss the upcoming season.

In the Pocket is next with discussion about the NFL, with regards to Gronk and Jordy Nelson retiring, along with updates around NFL, also the boys get into the new rule change that could of made of difference in the past NFL playoff.

The final part of the show is all about March Madness, Duke and the Toronto Raptors update. Dave will be at Northern Superior at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday!

Soo Eagles vs Rayside Balfour 3-26-19

Here is the Hockey TV audio of Tuesday night's NOJHL contest, between the Soo Eagles and the Rayside Balfour Canadians with Scott Nason in Game 6 of their West Semifinal.

The Eagles had their season come to an end, as the Canadians advance to the West Final with a 4-0 win, taking the series 4-2.

Scott Nason and Larry Pozzebon will be back in September for the 2019-20 Soo Eagles season and home broadcasts on Hockey TV.

The Game 3-25-19

On this edition of "The Game", live from the Wicked Sister in Sault Ste. Our guests in Hour 1 include Soo Eagles head coach Doug Laprade and LSSU Athletic Director Dr. David Paitson.

Soo Eagles vs Rayside Balfour 3-22-19

Here is the Hockey TV audio of Friday night's NOJHL contest, between the Soo Eagles and the Rayside Balfour Canadians with Scott Nason in Game 4 of their West Semifinal.

The Eagles staved off elimination with a 7-4 victory, and are now down 3-1 in their best-of-seven series.

Game 5 is at Rayside on Sunday. If there is a Game 6, we will have the call on Hockey TV.

Soo Eagles vs Rayside Balfour 3-21-19

Here is the Hockey TV audio of Thursday night's NOJHL contest, between the Soo Eagles and the Rayside Balfour Canadians with Scott Nason in Game 3 of their West Semifinal.

Evan Krassey scored early in overtime to lift the Canadians to a 3-2 win, and a 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.

We will be back at the Pullar Friday night for Game 4.
