Connor Henderson , The Game Sports Show Baseball Analyst joins Dave to discuss the World Series and reaction of the entire MLB playoffs, along with some notable names in free agency this upcoming off season and what should be looked out for with the Toronto Blue Jays and Detroit Tigers.

Justin rejoins Dave, jumping into NHL discussion overall with news in the NHL regarding Brendan Perlini and Dustin Byfuglien, along with all the Canadian teams and Red Wings. Our next show will be Monday on ESPN 1400 at 6pm.

The Game 10-30-19

Dave McCaig and Justin Hykel open the show from Sportscenter, the Soo's best sports bar for now, four years in a row, with the In Pocket Segment in terms of  local football and a recap from the Junior and Senior High School Championship. The first part audio clips were uploaded on Facebook and Podbean, please check them out if you haven't already.

Dave and Justin continue with "In The Pocket" and week 9 NFL predictions and quick reaction about the NFL Trade Deadline. They also discuss the NBA and Toronto Raptors, along with thumbs up to Toronto FC winning the conference and moving to the finals.

Next up for the crew - Dave and Justin will be at Northern Superior Thursday October 31st, Halloween edition, at 715pm, with Connor Henderson joining Dave to discuss the Washington Nationals World Series clinching win against the Houston Astros.

Highlights of today's show include...The Detroit Red Wings today assigned right wing Givani Smith to the American Hockey League’s Grand Rapids Griffins. Smith, 21, made his NHL debut with the Red Wings on Oct. 25 vs. Buffalo, registering two shots on goal and one hit in 11:01 time on ice. He has appeared in three games with Detroit, totaling four shots on goal and three hits in 10:32 average ice time per game.

Butch Davis of "Butch On Sports" joins the show to discuss the Detroit sports scene along with EJ Russell from Escanaba for the round table, as the crew discusses the upcoming MHSAA Football playoffs, Big 10 and college football, Mike Babcock on the hot seat in Toronto, NFL at the midway point of the season, and favorite broadcasters, along with their thumbs up and thumbs down for the week.

Highlights of today's show include...Detroit Lions’ 31-26 win over the New York Giants at Ford Field on Sunday. Receiver KENNY GOLLADAY finished with six receptions for 123 yards (20.5 avg.) and two touchdowns. His 123 receiving yards mark the most he’s ever produced in a home game.

Soo Eagles vs Rayside Balfour 10-26-19

The Canadians came back for a pair of third period goals, to top the Eagles, 3-2.

Soo Eagles vs Blind River 10-25-19

Here is the radio broadcast of Soo Eagles hockey on ESPN 1400 and the audio broadcast on Hockey TV from Friday night's game against Blind River at Pullar Stadium.

The first place Beavers shut-out the Eagles 3-0.

The Game 10-24-19

Dave McCaig and Alex Parr are broadcasting from Northern Superior Brewery talking local sports, including the Soo Thunderbirds, Soo Eagles and the NOJHL, Algoma University and Soo College athletics, along with LSSU, Soo Indians, Soo Greyhounds and Soo Jr. Greyhounds hockey.

Connor Henderson joins Dave for talk World Series and the Nationals taking the 2-0 lead back to Washington with a chance to win the World Series at home. Dave and Connor get into if the Astros have a chance to battle back in the series and why the Nationals have been successful as underdogs.

Dave is solo for the last part of the show and gets into a full discussion in regards to the NHL and Toronto Raptors, including the circumstances surrounding Leafs coach Mike Babcock, and the Raptors getting their rings.

Our next show will be on Monday, October 28th at 6 p.m. on ESPN 1400.

The Game 10-23-19

David McCaig, Justin Hykel and Matt Premo open the show with "In The Pocket" discussing the local football scene including the upcoming Junior Football championship with Korah Colts on Thursday, and the Senior Football championship on Friday between Korah Colts and St. Mary's Knights 7pm, both games at Superior Heights Field. They also discuss the NFL, including Emmanuel Sanders and Mohamed Sanu being dealt, along with predictions and preview about the upcoming games in Week 8.

The show concludes with baseball analyst Conner Henderson, in Ottawa. Conner discusses the World Series match up with the Houston Astros and Washington Nationals, with also what was successful for both teams leading up to the World Series.

Conner will be joining Dave tomorrow from Northern Superior on Thursday at 7:15 pm, projected to be joined by Alex Parr and Justin Hykel.

The Game 10-16-19

Dave McCaig, Justin Hykel and Jamie Antonello open the show with some hockey talk, teasing a few pieces for the Thursday edition from Northern along with baseball analyst Connor Henderson talking about the Nationals sweep over the Cardinals, Bryce Harper, Yankees vs Astros and the Maddon signing.

In the Pocket has local football with Junior and Senior Football Sault, Ontario as the playoffs get under way this weekend. They also talk professional football in regards to some Week 6 reaction regarding the officials, trade discussion regarding Jalen Ramsey, Cam Newton's future, and Week 7 preview and predictions.
