Here is the latest edition of "The Game", the Twin Sault’s only local, regional, and national sports show “The Game”.  Special guests included Sault Ste. Marie native and head coach of the Detroit Red Wings, Jeff Blashill, who talked about this month’s NHL draft, several free agent signings and the status of the Wings. Matt Johnson, Sault High football assistant coach, joined the show, discussing the Blue Devils game at Kingsley on Friday and what to expect against Cheboygan this Friday night. Linda Bouvet, manager of the Lake Superior State University club softball team also joined us, and talked about this year’s season and softball in the area.

Local sports are covered in the first hour, as we recapped Week 5 of the high school football season, high school volleyball, cross country, Lake Superior State athletics and junior hockey with the Soo Greyhounds, Soo Eagles, Soo Thunderbirds, and Soo Indians AAA hockey.

The second hour included co-host Butch Davis, from Butch On Sports, as he gives our listeners a first-hand account of what is going on in the Metro Detroit scene, including the Lions victory over the Jags, and updates on the Tigers, Wings, and Pistons.  Co-host E.J. Russell, host of The Hot Seat, joined the show from Escanaba, Michigan for the round table, as we discussed Week 6 of the NFL season, MLB playoffs, college football and much more. Soo Eagles vs Team USA U-17's 10-14-20

Here is the broadcast of the Soo Eagles vs Team USA Under 17's hockey game on Wednesday night, from Pullar Stadium on Hockey TV. 

Team USA skated away with a 10-0 victory.

The Eagles will hit the road this Friday and Saturday at Adrian College for a pair of exhibition games and next weekend at the Janesville Jets of the North American Hockey League. You can catch the games in Janesville on Hockey TV.

The Eagles next home games will be November 6-7 as they will take on the Lake Superior State University Club team. You can hear those games on ESPN 1400.

Soo Eagles vs Team USA U-17's 10-13-20

Here is the broadcast of the Soo Eagles vs Team USA Under 17's hockey game from Pullar Stadium on Hockey TV.

In the first game of the year for the Eagles, Team USA scored 9 goals in the second period to skate away with a 12-2 win. Keiran Carlile and Kyle Portlock scored the goals for the Eagles.
