Laker Hockey Show 2-17-21

Here is the podcast of "The Laker Hockey Show", with Bill Crawford and Matt Pocket, heard on Tuesday's at 5:00 p.m. and Thursday's at 8:00 a.m., on ESPN 1400.

Each week they interview coaches and players from the Lake Superior State Laker hockey team, recapping the past weekend's action and looking at what is ahead and what is going on within the program.

The next edition of the Laker Hockey Show will be on Wednesday, February 24th at 5:00 p.m., with the rebroadcast Thursday, February 25 at 8:00 a.m. on ESPN 1400.

E.J Russell joins Scott and Butch for the round table, talking regional and national sports, and our thumbs up and thumbs down for the week.

Sault High Girls B-Ball vs Marquette 2-15-21

The Blue Devils improved to 4-0 on the season as they topped the Redettes, 44-33. Lilly Alaspa scored 13 points to lead the Sault.

Sault High's game against Brimley on Tuesday night has been cancelled. The next action for the Blue Devils will be Thursday night at home against Rudyard. LSSU Women's B-Ball vs Northwood 2-13-21

Here is the broadcast of the Lake Superior State University women's basketball team game against Northwood University on Saturday, at the Bud Cooper Gymnasium, on ESPN 1400 with Scott Nason.

The Lakers fell to the Timberwolves, 80-61 to drop to 1-12 on the season. Mattison Rayman had 15 points to lead the Lakers.

The Lakers women will travel to Ferris State on Tuesday to take on the Bulldogs.

LSSU Women's B-Ball vs Northwood 2-12-21

Here is the broadcast of the Lake Superior State University women's basketball team game against Northwood University on Friday, at the Bud Cooper Gymnasium, on ESPN 1400 with Scott Nason.

The Lakers fell to the Timberwolves, 80-61 to drop to 1-11 on the season. Mattison Rayman led the Lakers with 16 points.

The Lakers will take on Northwood again on Saturday at 3 p.m. You can hear the call of the game on ESPN 1400, starting with the pregame show at 2:45 p.m.

Sault High Boys B-Ball vs St. Ignace 2-12-21
