Sault at Gladstone 10-22-21

Here is the broadcast of the Sault High football game at Gladstone, with Dave Watson and Pat Bennin, on 1230 WSOO, from October 22.

Cole Hawker hit three field goals for the Blue Devils, including the game winner, as they edged out the Braves 15-14.

Sault High finishes their season at 6-3, but it won't be enough to qualify them for the post-season, due to the new playoff points system in the state. 

Soo Eagles vs Team USA U17‘s 10-21-21

Here is the podcast of the Soo Eagles hockey game against Team USA National Under 17's from Thursday, October 21 at Pullar Stadium.

Team USA defeated the Eagles 9-1.

Stay tuned to "The Game" over the next few weeks to see if the Eagles will be able to play NOJHL home games at Pullar Stadium this season, starting as early as November.

Soo Eagles vs Team USA U-17‘s 10-20-21

Here is the podcast of the Soo Eagles hockey game against Team USA National Under 17's from Wednesday, October 20 at Pullar Stadium.

Team USA defeated the Eagles 11-2, in the first game this season in the Michigan Soo.

The two teams will meet on Thursday night starting at 7:00 p.m. at Pullar Stadium.

Highlights of this edition include...Detroit Lions star and Dukes of Hazzard actor Pat Studstill Jr passed away at 83.  According to Detroit News, the former Lions Pro Bowl receiver died at his home in Los Angeles on Saturday.  No cause of death was reported.

Cedarville-DeTour at Pickford 10-15-21

Here is the broadcast of the 8-player high school football game between the Cedarville-DeTour Islanders and the Pickford Panthers, on the EUP Game of the Week, on Country 105 with Scott Nason, from October 15.

The Panthers improved to 7-1 on the season as Josh Sullivan had five touchdowns for Pickford, leading them to a 44-6 win. Before the game, the field in Pickford was dedicated to former Athletic Director, Chuck Bennin.

Next week's EUP Game of the Week will be in Pickford, as the Panthers will  take on Rudyard. You can hear that game, with Matt Pocket, starting with the pregame show at 6:45 p.m.

Sault Football at Benzie Central 10-15-21
