Pistons end there 14 game losing woes with a 100-90 win over the heat of Miami.  Saddiq Bey finish with 26 point.  Cade Cunningham 4 points and 10 assists.

Soo Eagles vs Greater Sudbury 12-18-21

Here is the broadcast of the Soo Eagles hockey game against the Greater Sudbury Cubs, from Saturday, December 18, with Scott Nason and Rob Horn, on ESPN 1400 and Hockey TV.

The Eagles go into the holiday break on a winning note, as Chase Tellaire netted his second goal of the game in overtime, lifting the Eagles to a 4-3 win.

Our next Eagles broadcast will be on Friday, January 9, when they host Blind River at Pullar Stadium.  You can hear that game on ESPN 1400, and watch it on Hockey TV, starting with the pregame show at 7:15 p.m.

DeWitt at Sault 12-18-21

The Blue Devils dropped to 4-3 on the season, as they were defeated by the undefeated Panthers, 52-35.

Sault High will play their final game of 2021 on the road Monday in Alpena.  The next Blue Devil broadcast will be on Monday, as the boys team hosts Alpena. Full Court Press 12-18-21

Here is latest edition of "Full Court Press", the newest show to hit the Game Entertainment and Media platform, with host Scott Nason and co-host Matt Johnson.

On this edition, Scott and Matt discuss boys' high school basketball in the Eastern Upper Peninsula, as Matt gives his predictions in the Straits Area Conference for this season, along with looking at each team, and the games that were played this past week, along with what's ahead this week. Matt also shares some of his coaching experience with the first installment of "War Stories".

We will take a couple weeks off for the holiday season and be back with "Full Court Press" on Saturday, January 9th for our first show of 2022.

Coach‘s Corner 12-18-21

Soo Eagles vs Soo Thunderbirds 12-15-21

A goal from Jack Mortson in overtime, lifted the Eagles to a 2-1 win, as they beat the Thunderbirds for the 4th time in six tries this season.

Highlights of this edition include...There had been some doubt whether the Carolina Hurricanes would be able to host the Detroit Red Wings on Thursday after losing four players to COVID-19 protocol Tuesday, forcing their game against the Minnesota Wild to be postponed. But a little after 1 p.m. Wednesday, the Canes took to social media to announce, "Tomorrow's game vs. Detroit is ON!"

The Blue Devils down five late, rallied and captured a 57-55 win over Gaylord, to improve to 3-2 on the season.
