Sault vs Newberry 1-31-22

Here is the broadcast of the Sault High boys' basketball game against Newberry, with Dave Watson and Ray Bell, on 1230 WSOO.

The Blue Devils evened their record at 6-6 on the season, as they ran past Newberry, 82-37.

The next Sault High broadcasts will be on Friday, February 4 as part of a varsity doubleheader as they travel to St. Ignace taking on the Saints.  Dave Watson will be on the call, starting with the tip-off show at 5:30 p.m., for the girls' game, followed by the boys, on your official radio home for Sault High athletics, 1230 WSOO

Here is latest edition of "Full Court Press", the newest show to hit the Game Entertainment and Media platform, with host Scott Nason and co-host Matt Johnson.

On this edition, Scott and Matt discuss boys' high school basketball in the Eastern Upper Peninsula, looking at all the teams in the area and their latest results, along with detailed analysis of the action. They also discuss the MPR rankings, district assignments and the shot clock in high school basketball. Matt also shares some of his coaching and AD experiences with the latest installment of "War Stories".

Special guest on today's show is E.J. Suggitt, senior guard from the undefeated Rudyard Bulldogs boys' basketball team. We will also be playing his interview on Monday night's edition of "The Game" on News Talk 1400, at 6:15 p.m.
