Soo Eagles vs Soo Thunderbirds 12-15-21

Here is the broadcast of the Soo Eagles hockey game against the Soo Thunderbirds, with Scott Nason and Rob Horn, on ESPN 1400 and Hockey TV from December 4.

A goal from Jack Mortson in overtime, lifted the Eagles to a 2-1 win, as they beat the Thunderbirds for the 4th time in six tries this season.

The Eagles will be in action again on Friday, December 17, as they take on the Soo Thunderbirds at Pullar Stadium.  You can hear that game on ESPN 1400, and watch it on Hockey TV, starting with the pregame show at 7:15 p.m.

But a little after 1 p.m. Wednesday, the Canes took to social media to announce, "Tomorrow's game vs. Detroit is ON!"

Here is the broadcast of the Sault High girls' basketball game at Gaylord, from Tuesday, December 14, with Dave Watson  on 1230 WSOO.

The Blue Devils down five late, rallied and captured a 57-55 win over Gaylord, to improve to 3-2 on the season.

Sault vs Rudyard 12-9-21

Here is the broadcast of the Sault High boys' basketball game against Rudyard from December 9, with Dave Watson and Ray Bell, on 1230 WSOO.

In a back and forth affair, the Rudyard Bulldog's EJ Suggitt went coast to coast for the winning basket, with two seconds left, as the Bulldogs knocked off the Blue Devils, 60-58, in season opener for both teams.
