Full Court Press 2-5-22

Here is latest edition of "Full Court Press", the newest show to hit the Game Entertainment and Media platform, with host Scott Nason and co-host Matt Johnson.

On this edition, Scott and Matt discuss boys' high school basketball in the Eastern Upper Peninsula, looking at all the teams in the area and their latest results, along with detailed analysis of the action. They also discuss practice strategies during the season and heading into the postseason. Matt also shares some of his coaching and AD experiences with the latest installment of "War Stories".

Special guest on today's show is Doug Ingalls, head coach of the St. Ignace boys' varsity basketball team and coach of the lady Saints, with both teams knocking off Sault High on Friday night.

The next Full Court Press will be on Saturday, February 12.

Soo Eagles vs Powassan 2-4-22

Here is the broadcast of the Soo Eagles Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League game against the Powassan Voodoo's, from February 4, with Scott Nason and Rob Horn, on News Talk 1400 and Hockey TV.

The Eagles started the second half of their season on a winning note, as Gabe Rosek made 29 saves earning the shutout, and Seth Fergerson had a pair of power play goals, lifting the Eagles to a 4-0 win.

Our next Eagles broadcast will be on Thursday, February 10 as they will host French River.  You can hear that game on News Talk 1400 and watch the game on Hockey TV, starting with the pregame show at 6:15 p.m.

Sault at St. Ignace 2-4-22

The Blue Devils fell to the Saints, 61-50, as the two teams split the season series. You can hear more on this game with Saints head coach, Doug Ingalls, as he was our guest on this weekend's edition of "Full Court Press".

Sault vs Newberry 1-31-22

Here is the broadcast of the Sault High boys' basketball game against Newberry, with Dave Watson and Ray Bell, on 1230 WSOO.

The Blue Devils evened their record at 6-6 on the season, as they ran past Newberry, 82-37.
