Soo Eagles vs Blind River 3-22-22

Here is the broadcast of the Soo Eagles Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League game against the Blind River Beavers, from March 22, with Scott Nason and Rob Horn, on News Talk 1400 and Hockey TV.

The Soo Eagles won their sixth game in a row, and clinched second place in the West Division, as they skated past the Beavers, 2-1, at Pullar Stadium.

Our next Eagles broadcast is on Wednesday, March 23, as they will host the Blind River Beavers. You can hear that game on News Talk 1400 and watch the game on Hockey TV, starting with the pregame show at 6:45 p.m.

Michigan State gave Duke everything it could handle on Sunday, however the No. 2 seed Blue Devils survived for an 85-76 victory over the No. 7 seed Spartans to advance to the Sweet 16.

Soo Eagles vs Kirkland Lake 3-17-22

The Soo Eagles won their fifth game in a row, and had their highest scoring output of the season, as they cruised to a 11-4 victory at Pullar Stadium.

Sault vs Escanaba 3-14-22

Here is the broadcast of the Sault High boys' basketball regional semifinal against Escanaba, from March 14, with Dave Watson and Ray Bell, on 1230 WSOO.

The Blue Devils fell to the Eskymos, 41-29, in the Division 2 regional semifinal in Manistique, to end their season at 10-13.

The next Sault High broadcasts will be in the spring, as Dave Watson will be broadcasting baseball and softball, once the snow melts and the fields are playable, on your official radio home for Sault High athletics, 1230 WSOO

The Blue Devils won their first district title since 2016, as they came back from seven points down in the fourth quarter, to defeat the Ramblers, 51-49, in Kalkaska.
