It will mark a reunion of sorts for Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, who coached Philadelphia for 14 seasons, including a trip to the Super Bowl, before coming to Kansas City.  Eagles defense knocks out both 49ers QBs, leads way to NFC title in 31-7 rout.

The NBA is taking its updated All-Star format to the next level.  The league and the NBPA announced Tuesday that captains will select their teams from a pool of All-Stars in a pregame draft just before tipoff — just like on the playground. The draft will take place at 7:30 p.m. ET Feb. 19 at Salt Lake City's Vivint Arena. The game is scheduled to tip at 8 p.m.

Butch on Sports - January 11 2023

The Detroit Tigers, owned by Ilitch Holdings, plan to move in the center-field wall at Comerica Park, the team announced Wednesday.  The center-field fence will be moved in 10 feet, making the wall 412 feet from home plate. The height of the walls will be lowered in center field (from 8.5 feet to 7 feet), right-center field (from 13 feet to 7 feet) and right field (from 8.5 feet to 7 feet).

A Lions win over the Packers on Sunday night would put the Seahawks in the playoffs because Jason Myers and his field goal in OT beat the Rams 19-16. That kept the Seahawks alive for at least a few more hours.
