FLASHBACK FRIDAY...Cedarville vs Muskegon WMC 2009 Class D boys basketball State Final

On this Flashback Friday we are going back to 2009 as Scott Nason and Barry O'Connor broadcast the Class D boys basketball State Final between the Cedarville Trojans and Muskegon Western Michigan Christian.

The Trojans would come up one point short as they finished State Runners-Up falling 62-61, the final game in the storied high school basketball career of CJ Paquin.

Good luck to the Trojans on Tuesday as they face Dolllar Bay in a Class D quarterfinal in Escanaba, with the winner advancing to the Breslin Center on Thursday.

Marie, giving an update on the world of local sports in the Twin Sault's and EUP, including the high school basketball and hockey playoffs, Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League, Ontario Hockey League and Laker Athletics.

Butch Davis from The Telegram News and Butch On Sports joins the show talking about the High School basketball playoffs down state, as well as the Pistons, Red Wings, Lions, Tigers, the NCAA Basketball Tournament and the WWE.

Brimley Boys Regional Semi vs Wolverine 3-12-18

Here is the podcast of the Brimley Bays boys basketball regional semifinal game from Pellston on Monday night against the Wolverine Wildcasts on Eagle 95.1 FM with Scott Nason, Todd Olmstead and Vance Nason.

Brimley advanced to the regional final with a 59-38 win, as Tristan Lyons scored 22 points for the Bays and Kaleb Johanson added 14.

Brimley will face rival Cedarville in the Class D regional final Wednesday night at 6 p.m. You can hear that game on Eagle 95.1, as well as the podcast here.

Note: This game will now be played at Sault High instead of Pellston.

Brimley Boys District Final vs Engadine 3-7-18

Here is the podcast of tonight's thrilling 54-50 win for the Brimley Bays over the Engadine Eagles in the Class D District 124 Final in boys basketball on Eagle 95.1.

Marcus Harris scored 18 and Josh Gross and Sam Hopper each added 16 points in Brimley's first district title since 2005.

Brimley will be in the Class D regional semifinal in Pellston on Monday, March 12th where they will take on the winner of Friday night's district final between Gaylord St. Marys and Wolverine.

Scott Nason, Todd Olmstead, and Vance Nason will have the call of the game starting at 7:00 p.m. on Eagle 95.1 www.radioeaglesoo.com.

On this special Tuesday night edition of "The Game" Scott Nason is broadcasting from the Eagle 95.1 Studio's in Sault Ste. Marie, giving an update on the world of local sports in the Twin Sault's and EUP, including the high school basketball and hockey playoffs, Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League, Ontario Hockey League and Laker Athletics.

Due to a recording malfunction, we are unable to have the second half of the show on the podcast, with Butch Davis from the Telegram News and Butch On Sports, but we will have that bug fixed and have him back next week.

We will have our show on Tuesday night on next week if Brimley advances to the Regional Semifinal in Pellston on Monday night, otherwise we will be back at the Wicked Sister next Monday, March 12.
