Soo Eagles vs Soo Thunderbirds Game 6 NOJHL West Semi's - 3-26-08

Here is the www.hockeytv.com audio broadcast with Scott Nason and Larry Pozzebon, of the Soo Thunderbirds 2-1 win over the Soo Eagles in Game 6 of their NOJHL West Division Semifinals at Pullar Stadium. Robert Calisti had the game-winning goal with 7 second left in the second period, which proved to be the winner.

It's winner take all in Game 7 on Wednesday night at the John Rhodes Community Centre.

On this edition...Third-seeded Michigan outlasted ninth-seeded Florida State 58-54 on Saturday night. The Wolverines forced 14 turnovers in the first half and then held the Seminoles to 23.3 percent shooting after halftime to led them to victory.

With the Soo Eagles Game 6 on Monday night, we will not have The Game from the Wicked Sister, but be doing a Tuesday night online show.

Soo Eagles vs Soo Thunderbirds Game 4 NOJHL West Semi's 3-23-18

Here is the www.hockeytv.com audio broadcast with Scott Nason and Larry Pozzebon, of the Soo Eagles 3-0 win over the Soo Thunderbirds, in Game 4 of their Western Division semifinal at Pullar Stadium. Carter McPhail earned another shutout as the Eagles take a 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven NOJHL West Division Semifinal series.

Game 5 is Saturday in Soo, Ontario, if a Game 6 is necessary, we will have it Monday night at Pullar Stadium.

On this edition...The Detroit Lions announced today that they have signed free agent DT Sylvester Williams. Contract terms were not disclosed. Williams joins the Lions after spending the 2017 season with the Tennessee Titans, where he played in 15 games (11 starts) and finished with 20 tackles (12 solo).

He also talks about the WCHA Hockey Championships, and Lake Superior State Athletics.

First guest is Steve Hettinga, head coach of the Lake Superior State University Men's Basketball team after a successful 25 win season, talking about the season that was and looking ahead to the 2018-19 season.

Next guest is Butch Davis from the Telegram News and Butch on Sports talking about the NCAA basketball tournament along with the Detroit sports scene.

EJ Russell on the Team Wireless Hot Seat joins us for the second hour on the round table, where they talk about the NFL Free Agency signing, officiating and the NCAA basketball tournament, along with their thumbs up and thumbs down for the week.
