David McCaig, Alex Parr, Justin Hykel, Matt Premo and Daniel Scarpino all in attendance for this Northern Superior Edition of The Game, which is a combined content edition with our Wednesday show from Sportscenter.
The boys open the show talking local hockey, with the Soo Thunderbirds, Soo Eagles and Blind River Beavers of the NOJHL, along with discussion about Sault College hockey and the Soo Greyhounds opening weekend games. The crew also talks more local sports with Algoma University men's and women's soccer teams, along with professional soccer.
The second half of the show has lots of NHL updates with the Leafs, Jets and Senators, along with some contract extensions and the Montreal Canadians. Back to local sports for the final part of the show, with local high school football along with NFL talk on "In The Pocket".
The Game Sports Show will be on scene all weekend long to cover all local sports needs, next upcoming show will be Monday at 6pm on ESPN 1400.
